Plot: Holmes is hired to stop a ritual cult murder, only this sets into motion a revenge plot by the man, Blackwood.  Soon, Holmes and Watson find themselves neck deep in a terrorist plot which involves all of London.

This is the first film in the new series.

I love the pairing of Downey and Law.  There's something electric between their comedic timing that just works.
 This is one of those films that fits into almost every sub-genre  with ease.  It's well acted, well written and gives enough colour to what could have easily have been a paint by numbers. 

what do I think i learned from this film?
Nothing is as it seems, and everything has a creative solution.
