August Food n Flix Announcement

Spudguns!  As I hinted at last month on the tail end of the Food n' Flix, post, I get to host another one.  How did I swing that so soon you might be asking? It's no secret, it was to shut me up, pure and simple. But, I'll take it!

With it being the end of summer, I thought we would go with something light, something funny, something in a cartoon. So, my selection is Hotel Transylvania 2.

Dracula is a new grandfather with the recent birth of little Dennis. While it's uncertain if Dennis is going to be human or vampire when he grows up, both sides of the family are beginning to pressure each other to "conform".

Okay, while not a "foodie" movie by some standards, there is plenty of food ideas running around here. Many, which are talked about more than seen, and many that are "monster versions".  I thought with the timing of season, a lighter film would be good for all. And take note, it is a sequel, but no you do not have to have seen the first to enjoy the second.

Rules:  You must have a blog to part take.  Watch the movie, and go into the kitchen and create something inspired by a scene or something directly from the movie.  The post must be current (in this case during the month of August 2016)  Make sure you link to both this post AND the Food n' Flix blog. 
Then email me  (domesticanddamned (at) gmail (dot) com) with a link to your blog post, the name of your dish, the name of your blog, and it's url, and a photo of your dish or give me permission to grab a photo. Make sure to title the email FOOD N' FLIX SUBMISSION.

Deadline: Monday August 29th 2016 at 6 pm EST.  I hope to have the round up done the next day.
