plot: an FBI agent ends up having to team up with a chaotic cop in order to bring down a major drug ring.
Buddy cop story. You could almost call this Miss Congeniality 3 given it's the same idea, just a different character name.
I have to give it credit, it was actually funnier then both Miss Congeniality films, maybe because McCarthy is just better at the comedy duo then either of the actors who did the Congeniality series with Bullock.
The script is pretty basic as far as crime stories go, nothing really new. And not much of a real plot either. I thought the little thing about Bullock's character being a semi-crazy cat lady was the one real touch of newness.
I can see a sequel being squeezed out of the duo. Odd couple style movies always start off with good intentions, but not always end in a good way.
