plot: After deciding it's time to try to find his way home, Riddick is stranded on a desert planet. He manages to survive against all odds, until a bounty hunters come looking for him. Part three in the film series ( Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick)
This takes you back to the idea of the first film, with man against beast and man against environment as the main plots.
I have to admit, I liked the idea of him saving a hyena-wolf creature in this and raising it, gave the character an edge we hadn't seen since his semi adopting the kid in the first one.
This is pretty much a sci-fi-western. A lot of shoot'em up scenes, on a deserted planet. Bit predictable at times, but it's still enjoyable.
