I was speechless through most of this. Even though, this was a tv edit, the version I saw did not loose any of it's emotion. {as sometimes a television edit is just that, edited to the point of not even being the same story}
The performance of Streep is raw and manages to do what many actors are unable to do, convince you that you are really there, really transported to the world in which the characters live.
What do I think I learned from this film?
There is a big difference between knowing the truth and hearing it.
