Day 274

movie: It had to be you
starring: Natasha Henstridge, Michael Vartan
genre: Comedy, Romance,
year: 2000
format: TV  EDIT

plot: Two strangers both end up in the same hotel for a wedding planning weekend.  Soon, they find themselves falling in love with each other while planning their weddings to other people

It had a very similar feel to The Wedding Planner.  Nothing in this film is original.  The two leads fall in love, and the two supporting characters follow suite.
It is a sweet story but it's one that's been played out a hundred times before.

I did like the fact that it played up to the fact it was shot in New York. I find there is something about movies and shows shot there that gives a boost of character to the settings.

what do I think I learned from this film?
Sometimes the right person is not the person you thought.  Love will lead you to the places you're suppose to be even when you think you missed your path.
