This is based on a series of books.
It's smart, sleek and still manages to cover many of the usual basics you would expect from a crime drama.
The two leads play off each other in a way that reminded me of old McMillan and Wife episodes.
This has the elements for the bases of a great series of films. And Debbie Reynolds; even though she only has about 8 minutes of screen time steals the show.
I'm trying to talk about it without spoilers given it just opened this weekend.
What do I think I learned from this film?
You can do anything if you are willing to really put your mind to it.
