movie: Lucinda's Spell
starring: Jon Jacobs, Christina Fulton
genre: Comedy,
year: 1998
format: online
plot: A coven of witches are battling it out for the chance to mate with a demigod. The only problem is that he's already had a son with one of them years before, who happens to be a prostitute.
This started off making me wonder what sort of movie it was but quickly proved to be a straight up comedy.
There is no questioning why it's considered a bit of a cult classic. Fulton's ability to turn from comedy to drama on a dime keeps you glued (there is a scene where she is begging to keep her son while her face is covered in face cream making her look like a clown)
I only wish there had been more scenes dealing with magick.
what do I think I learned from this film?
You can't keep a good witch down.
