This is based on the biography of actor George Hamilton.
It was surprisingly good for a film about conflicting social commentary. I actually got caught up in the film, forgetting that it was a semi-biographical one.
Chris Noth, has a small role as one of the boyfriends/husbands, and it was interesting to see him playing a cruel nearly heartless character.
I liked the running gimmick that every time the older brother got his big chance to be an actor, they had to up and run before he could. It lends to the switch up at the end nicely.
What did I learn? Kindness is not always as it first appears. And the right thing for you might not be what you thought it was in the beginning.
